Volvo Independent division dated the premiere of the first model
Polestar which Volvo allocated in the separate company announced the date of the premiere of the first model — on December 17. The company published the announcement of the novelty and also some photos on Instagram.
According to preliminary data, Polestar will release a sporty coupe with hybrid power unit rated at approximately 600 hp. Besides, Polestar engineers will design one more model soon, but there are no details yet.
As it was conceived by Volvo, the new company has to focus on development and serial production of hi-tech electric vehicles. However, in fact, only several months passed from the moment of the beginning of an independent life, we can assume that some present Volvo model will be used as a basis.
