Ford Fiesta - the supermini car of a B-class was developed in 1972 and approved for production in 1973 under the name Bobcat. The initial generation of Fiesta was presented in 1976. This model has undergone six generations and is made to this day. In total more than 16 million units were made that making it one of the best selling cars of the Ford company.
The first generation of Ford Fiesta was produced from 1976 to 1983 with engines of 957 cm3 (40 hp) and 1117 cm3 (53 hp), located across the front compartment. The body was performed in a hatchback with 3 doors. Complete set in Europe - Base, Popular, L, GL (and since 1978 - Ghia and S). Configurations in the US - Base, Decor, Sport and Ghia. All equipment in the United States were supplied with a more powerful engine capacity of 1596 cm3. In 1981, Escort replaced the Fiesta in the US market.
The fifth generation of Ford Fiesta dates from 2002. The exterior in many respects reminds Ford Focus. The dimensions of Ford Fiesta were enlarged, handling was changed to better side, and comfort for the driver and passengers. In 2006, the model has undergone a restyling that allowed to further improve its external parameters, however, the overall look of the Fiesta preserved.
In 2008, introduced the sixth generation of Ford Fiesta to the public. In cars of this configuration is clearly noticeable features associated with the new kinetic design. So the original design liked by many car enthusiasts, thus increasing the already considerable volumes of sales.
Ford Fiesta is equipped with a menu system Convers+, the same as in Mondeo, C-MAX and Galaxy, and complemented by control buttons on the steering wheel. Also, keyless entry system and engine start with button, USB port to connect music players.
