Ford Mustang
All Years and ModificationsAmong the automotive world market the car Mustang stands out obviously. As the owner of a great story, this flagship quickly became one of the leaders, securing its position by today also. History of Ford Mustang during its existence has passed the way from the beginning of the lineup, grabbed the lion's share of the market, it has become the benchmark for customers.
Originally the brand was focused on the sports segment. The release of the first car falls in the year 1964. It was immediately positively apprehended by users thanks to its high technical characteristics. The car appeared thanks to the engineering decision of Li Yakokki. The "basis" for the Mustang became Ford Thunderbird, which in 1954 was the benchmark by the representative of the sports class.
The second generation of the model appeared in 1974. By this time the president of the company has become Li Yakokka - the man who invented the concept of a sports coupe as a whole. He considered the first generation of Mustangs is too heavy and called them "hippopotamuses". In developing the new generation he put forward the slogan of "return to roots", i.e. to the original concept. Accordingly, released in 1974, the Mustang II, created on the platform of the Ford Pinto, became significantly smaller and lighter.
The Shelby GT500 version of Mustang appeared in 2007. The car received a V8 engine capacity of 5.4 liter supercharged and power of 500 hp. Together with the engine mounted six-speed manual gearbox. In the car installed Brembo-brand brakes and wheels 18-th size. Mustang Bullitt version was introduced in 2008 based on the Mustang GT. On the car was installed engine capacity of 4.6 liter and 315 hp in conjunction with the five-speed manual. Compared with the version of the GT, the main couple had a greater gear ratio. Due to the use of other springs and shock absorbers suspension has been lowered by 6 mm. Vehicle color was dark green or black. The same brake mechanisms version has a larger size and 18 sized disks. In the same year appears version Shelby GT500KR ( "King of the Road"). Under the hood of the car was a V8 engine capacity of 5.4 liter with a blower, delivers power of 540 hp. To improve controllability of the car it was used racing dampers and springs with special settings. And to reduce weight the hood was made of carbon fiber.
