The fastest cars at the Frankfurt Auto Show
Experts made the rating of the fastest cars debuting at the Frankfurt motor show which indisputable leader was a prototype electric Aspark Owl hyper-car. According to the Japanese engineers, electric hyper-car Aspark Owl is capable to accelerate up to 100 km/h in only 2 seconds. In addition, the car works not at the expense of accumulators, it uses also powerful condensers.
Project One by Mercedes-AMG model received the second place in spite of the fact that dynamic parameters of the model completely not revealed. The producer emphasizes that the maximum speed of the novelty is 350 km/h, but acceleration time up to 100 km/h is not reported. The car is equipped with the engine from Formula One and 4 electric motors with a total power more than 1000 horsepower.
TOP-3 closes Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster which accelerates up to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 349 km/h. The model is equipped with V12, 6,5 liters engine power of 730 horsepower.
The fourth place received Ferrari Portofino with 600 horsepower and a possibility of acceleration to 100 km/h for 3,5 seconds. Also, the rating is closed with Audi R8 V10 with the RWS index, equipped with 5,2 liters of the engine capacity of 540 horsepower together with automatic transmission of S-Tronic. It allows the car to accelerate up to 100 km/h for only 3,7 seconds and maximum speed is 320 km/h.
