Ford creates a team for the development of electric cars
Ford company created the special Edison team that is intended to accelerate development the market of electric cars. As vice president of Autonomous Vehicles and Electrification of Ford - Sherif Marakby notes, this team will be engaged in the development of communications with other producers and suppliers.
Mr. Marakby says that potential for electric vehicles is very high at the global car market. For the next five years, the producer is going to spend about 4.5 billion dollars for electrification of models range. The office of specialists who work in the Edison team will be located in Detroit, USA.
