Maserati Quattroporte is a special car. Its uniqueness is that the Italian company did not release other sedans of a representative class except this. The engineers worked on the model and since 1963, each next generation became better and better.
The first Maserati Quattroporte appeared on the market in the 1960s that had attractive appearance and interior equipped with air conditioning, electric windows and other ultimate things for those times. With a 4.1-liter engine power of 260 hp could speed up to 230 kilometers per hour. Among owners of Quattroporte of the first generation, there were many famous people.
The second generation of a four-door sedan was presented in 1976. The version is collectible as it was produced only in several copies. Business did not reach a series production due to the crisis. Also, the difficulties inside the company itself prevented from further investigations. The third generation of Maserati Quattroporte appeared on the market in 1979. Many rich people did not see the better version of the model for themselves. 1994 was marked by an introduction for the fourth generation of the representative sedan. Maserati Quattroporte had a courageous exterior, spacious, noise-insulated cabin with leather and wood trim together with high level of safety. It was possible to find motors volume of 2.0, 2.8 and 3.2 cubes under a hood.
In 2005, in Frankfurt, next two versions of Quattroporte were presented: elegant Executive GT with the chromed 19-inch wheels and aggressive Sport GT with extension carbon fiber console, sports steering wheel, electronic transmission and the new exhaust system. The modern Quattroporte models are equipped with 400 h.p. atmospheric engine volume of 4.2-liter which is made at the Ferrari plant. The gear box with an electrohydraulic system of switching is capable of working in an automatic mode. The maximum speed of the car – 275 km/h. Besides, Maserati Quattroporte is incredibly comfortable. Each of four leather seats is equipped with 14-position adjustment in different directions, heating and ventilation systems, and fine isolation of interior that allows passengers to feel calm and relaxed.
