Hyundai company plans to increase volume by 10 percent
Hyundai is going to sell 10% more cars current year than previous year. Alexey Kalitsev, Executive Director of Hyundai Motor CIS told that half of the implemented 2017 cars will be crossovers. In an interview with the Agency Autostat, head of Hyundai Motor CIS explained that the main focus will be on the popular SUV segment as well as on strengthening of positions in the class of subcompact cars due to a recent market Solaris new generation.
The company also plans an expansion of the dealer network to 175 active centers and rebrand with new corporate standards. The main task of the brand according to Mr. Kalitsev is to improve the quality of customer service.
To remind, following the results of last year, model Hyundai Solaris became the most sold car in the Russian market, however, in connection with the change of generations in January, the car took only the fourth place in the ranking, behind KIA Rio and two domestic models: LADA Granta and LADA Vesta.
