BMW will begin production of 8 Series in 2018
Next year, at the plant in the German city of Dingolfing, BMW company will begin production of BMW 8 Series. The concept of new BMW 8 Series generation was announced at the beginning of the current year. It was planned that the model in a body of a Coupe has to appear at the American and European markets next year. Sales of the novelty in a body type of cabriolet will begin in 2019.
BMW 8 series will compete with a Cabriolet and Coupe of Mercedes Benz S Class. The new BMW model series will be available with a wide motor range which will include 3-liter turbo engine with six cylinders, 6.6-liter V12 M760Li xDrive motor as well as 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 power of 600 hp. So far, it is unknown when the final version of the model will be debuted. Most likely, it will occur at the Auto Show in Geneva next year.
